Discovering My Epilepsy - Family Support Group Discovering My Epilepsy is a support group for children, teens and their families living with epilepsy. Our mission is to help one another understand the many life changes associated with epilepsy. Our goals are to provide a safe, secure, and stimulating environment, nurture new friends, and create a support network for the siblings and parents of those with epilepsy. Epilepsy...A Young Women's Guide Family Support - special gatherings: The Matty Fund’s Epilepsy Resource Center will host a series of gatherings for young women featuring guest facilitator, Alison Macera, of Lincoln, RI. Alison will share her experiences, answer questions and open group discussion topics on the unique challenges faced by young women who have been diagnosed with epilepsy, or a seizure disorder. The next of these gatherings, which are open to young women with epilepsy (middle school aged through young adult) will be held on Friday, July 30, 2010 in the Matty Fund’s Resource Center.
