My Friend Matty
A Story About Living With Epilepsy

This is an uplifting story about a young boy, Matty, who is proud to share his epilepsy condition with friends, classmates and his teacher. The book also educates the reader as to what seizures and epilepsy are all about. The Matthew Siravo Memorial Foundation has begun an epilepsy education & awareness campaign for second grade classrooms throughout the State of Rhode Island. The books will be donated to the participating schools as part of our epilepsy curriculum. We will also incorporate other ideas and "Matty Hatty Birthday Dance-a-thon" for schools in February, in honor of Matty's Birthday.
